Welcome to ArtisansHub ("we," "us," or "our"), an online marketplace operated at www.artisanshub.ca that connects Canadian artisans with buyers seeking authentic handcrafted goods. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern
your access to and use of our website, platform, and related services.
By creating an account, browsing, or making a purchase on ArtisansHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
ArtisansHub is a marketplace platform that enables independent Canadian artisans ("Sellers") to list and sell handcrafted goods to buyers ("Buyers"). ArtisansHub is not the seller of any items listed on the platform. Each transaction is between the Buyer and the Seller.
As a marketplace platform, ArtisansHub:
To buy or sell on ArtisansHub, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. Sellers are required to provide a valid Canadian business license number during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. ArtisansHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.
You agree not to use ArtisansHub to:
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. ArtisansHub charges a 15% commission on each sale, which is deducted before funds are remitted to the Seller. Refund and return policies are set by individual Sellers. ArtisansHub may facilitate dispute resolution between Buyers and Sellers but is not obligated to issue refunds on behalf of Sellers. Buyers are encouraged to review Seller policies
before purchasing.
The ArtisansHub name, logo, website design, and platform technology are the property of ArtisansHub and are protected by Canadian intellectual property laws. Sellers retain ownership of their product images, descriptions, and brand content. By listing on ArtisansHub, Sellers grant us a non-exclusive license to display their content on our platform for the purpose of facilitating sales.
ArtisansHub provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, ArtisansHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, any transaction between Buyers and Sellers, or any product purchased through the marketplace.
ArtisansHub's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to ArtisansHub in the twelve months preceding
the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ArtisansHub shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and post a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of ArtisansHub after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
